Welcome to gpcqm.ca (“the Website”), operated by Événements GPCQM. Please read the following terms of use carefully before accessing and using the services available on the Site. This site is intended for persons 13 years of age and older. By consulting and using the services of this site, you confirm that you are 13 years of age or older and that you accept the terms of use of this site.
The management of Événements GPCQM reserves the right to modify these TERMS OF USE, including addition or cancellation of certain parts thereof, at any time, on the condition that it posts the date of the most recent revision under the title TERMS OF USE at the top of this page. The modified TERMS OF USE shall come into force 30 days following the date of their posting on the Website.
The purpose of these TERMS OF USE is to establish the conditions of use of the Website and ensure the proper use of the content published as well as the services offered thereon, in compliance with the requirements of Événements GPCQM and its partners, and with applicable legislation. If you obtain other services from Événements GPCQM or its partners, other conditions may apply.
These TERMS OF USE apply to any person visiting the Website.
1. PURPOSE OF THE WEBSITE
This site is intended to inform the public about cycling events organized by Événements GPCQM and to allow certain interactions with visitors. You may not use the content of the site for any other purpose. All information available on the site is for information purposes only and is not binding on Événements GPCQM.
2. ACCESS TO THE SITE
Access to the site by automated means (such as robots, crawlers, etc.) is not permitted, except by search engines that follow the rules established by the site’s robots.txt file.
There is no guarantee that the site will be accessible and functional, in whole or in part, at all times. Événements GPCQM reserves the right to suspend access to the site for the public as a whole or for one or several visitors in particular for any period of time, at its sole discretion.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content published on the Website, including but not limited to articles, text, photographs, images, illustrations, graphics, logos, names and audio or video clips (“the Content”), is protected by national and international legislation regarding intellectual property and, in particular, regarding copyright. All rights, titles, and interests in the Content belong to Événements GPCQM or to its licensors. Any copying, republishing, reproduction, distribution, dissemination, public availability or modification in whole or in part of the Content is strictly prohibited.
Any other use of the Content published on the Website without the prior written consent of Événements GPCQM or of its licensors could expose the offender to legal penalties.
Moreover, any use of the trademarks and logos displayed on the Website is subject to the prior written consent of Événements GPCQM or of its licensor; unauthorized use could result in legal liability.

The Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec, Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal and Critérium National de Montréal logos are trademarks of Événements GPCQM. Under no circumstances may these trademarks be copied, reproduced, replicated or used in whole or in part with the express written consent of Événements GPCQM management.
5. LINKING TO THE GPCQM.CA SITE
Événements GPCQM management grants users permission to link to the Website, provided that the site where the links are posted does not present false, inaccurate or defamatory information about gpcqm.ca. Links may direct users to any page of the Website that is accessible to the public.
This permission may be withdrawn at any time by Événements GPCQM management.
6. CONTENT AND ELEMENTS PROVIDED BY THE PUBLIC
Members of the public may be invited to contribute to the content of gpcqm.ca by submitting written comments, testimonials, photos and other materials. Persons submitting material to the Website, i.e., photos, text, videos, testimonials, comments, notes, suggestions or any other material, do so without compensation from Événements GPCQM, and in so doing grant to the latter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable right to use all submitted content worldwide, in any language, as well as the right to use the submitted content for both commercial and non-commercial purposes, with or without a partnership, and to use, publish, distribute, reproduce, modify, or translate it and present it in public, via Internet or any media, electronic or otherwise, without compensation from Événements GPCQM.

In consequence of the foregoing, you undertake to hold harmless and indemnify Événements GPCQM and its partners in respect of any and all reasonable damages, expenses, fees and costs incurred or suffered by them as a result of any proceedings instituted by a third party on the ground of non-compliance with any of the foregoing representations and warranties.
Événements GPCQM may, in its discretion, monitor the Submitted Materials posted on this Website and may, in its sole discretion, remove any material that it considers to be infringing on the rights of third parties, contrary to law or inappropriate (as determined by Événements GPCQM sole discretion) and block a visitor’s access to this Website. GPCQM Events does not routinely monitor content posted to the site by users. We invite the public to notify us immediately of any errors, or content deemed inappropriate or unacceptable at info@gpcqm.ca. Whenever content that you submit to gpcqm.ca is published or displayed on the Website or via any other media used by Événements GPCQM, the latter reserves the right to use, or not use, your surname, first name, photograph or other personal information in relation to such publication or display. These TERMS OF USE and the relationship between users and gpcqm.ca shall be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Province of Québec, Canada. The parties agree to choose exclusively the judicial district of Montreal, Province of Québec, Canada, as the district appropriate for hearing any claims stemming from the interpretation, application, performance, entry into effect, validity, and effects of these TERMS OF USE.
In the event that any element or portion of these TERMS OF USE is found to be unlawful or for any reason unenforceable, then that element or portion shall be deemed severable from these TERMS OF USE and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining elements and portions.

In summary
We collect and use personal data primarily in two ways:
- When participants register for our Events and provide us with contact or other information about themselves, we primarily use this data to process the registration and provide our services. We also use contact information and general attendee characteristics (e.g., email address, phone number, age group) to promote our Events more effectively, including through the creation of targeted audiences, where attendees have not asked us not to do so.
- We collect certain data about participants during the Events to operate the Events and to ensure the safety of all participants.
- When people visit our Websites, we collect tracking information in an industry-standard manner in order to analyze traffic to our Websites and to create customized audiences for advertisements. 3.3.4. Personalized marketing

Personal data collected is stored electronically by our service providers on servers located in Canada.
Some data is processed by our service providers using facilities that may be located in jurisdictions other than Canada. See section 7.2 for more details.
Data generated from Google Analytics is stored on servers controlled by Google.
6. HOW IS YOUR DATA PROTECTED
Your personal data is hosted on servers operated by our service providers and is protected by security measures commensurate with the sensitivity of the data against unauthorized disclosure, modification and use. Your financial data is subject to security measures by our service providers that comply with the standards imposed by the payment card networks.
Our employees and suppliers are made aware of the confidentiality of personal data that is collected through the Websites and in connection with the Events and are made aware of appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal data.
7. WHO HAS ACCES TO YOUR DATA?
We will only share your personal data in the ways described in this policy and where we have obtained your consent. Your personal data may be shared with the categories of persons described below for the purposes that are identified.

Collected personal data is only available to our officers and employees who must access it for the purposes described in this policy.

7.3. Our sponsors
Some of our sponsors may benefit indirectly from the personal data we collect in the course of targeted advertising campaigns. We never share your data with our sponsors directly. We do offer some of our business partners the ability to target a personalized audience based on data we have in our possession, in a manner similar to what online advertising service providers such as Google and Facebook do.
7.4. Our legal obligations
We may also disclose personal data collected to third parties if expressly permitted or required to do so by applicable law, or if we are compelled to do so by a competent authority. We may disclose personal data in connection with legal proceedings if necessary to protect our rights or those of our users.
7.5. Transfer of our company
In the event that the sale or restructuring of all or part of our business is contemplated, we may share the personal data we collect with the persons or organizations involved before and after the transaction, regardless of whether the transaction goes through. In such a case, these persons or organizations agree to keep the personal data collected confidential and to use it only for the purpose of evaluating the feasibility or advisability of the transaction and in accordance with this policy.
8. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS WITH RESPECT TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
If you have created an account directly with one of our suppliers, they may process your personal data in accordance with the consent you have provided and you should contact that company directly with respect to such processing.

We will respond to your request promptly (within 30 days of receipt).
8.2. Withdrawing your consent or objection
Your browser allows you to withdraw your consent to certain processing of your personal data, including by preventing the storage of browser cookies. Other tools are available to control the data that is collected through the Websites.
If you wish to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data beyond what is permitted by the Websites or your browser, please notify us by writing to info@gpcqm.ca. You may also object to the processing of your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests. It is not possible to prevent any processing of your personal data and continue to use the Websites and participate in Events. The only way to stop the processing of your personal data is to stop using the Websites and not to participate in Events.
8.3. Requesting the deletion of personal data
You may request the deletion of the personal data we hold about you where it is not necessary for us to retain it. To make such a request, please email us at info@gpcqm.ca. We will comply with your request as soon as possible (but no later than 30 days after receipt).
If you continue to visit the Websites or participate in an Event, we will collect certain data about you again.
8.4. Lodging a Complaint
Our company is governed by the laws and regulations applicable in Québec and Canada and is subject to the jurisdiction of the Québec and Canadian privacy authorities.
The legislation or regulations applicable in your jurisdiction of residence may allow you to address a supervisory authority having jurisdiction. Otherwise, any complaint or claim based on this policy or our processing of your personal data should be addressed to the Québec or Canadian authorities.

We may verify the identity of individuals seeking access to their personal data. Any information collected for this verification will not be used for any other purpose.
9. AMENDMENTS TO THE POLICY
We may amend this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our personal data management practices. In the event that a change is made, the new policy will be available on our website at gpcqm.ca/en/privacy-policy.
If we have collected your contact information, we will notify you of any material changes to our privacy policy by email within a reasonable period of time before the new policy takes effect. If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, we will not process it further on the basis of your consent.

he present document describes the conditions of purchase (“The Contract”) of the tickets for the 2025 edition of the Grands Prix Cyclistes de Québec et de Montréal. The term “Customer” refers to a person having purchased a ticket for the Grands Prix Cyclistes de Québec et de Montréal, the term “Event” refers to the Grands Prix Cyclistes de Québec et de Montréal and the term “Organization” refers to the team of Événements GPCQM, promoter of the Grands Prix Cyclistes de Québec et de Montréal.
By purchasing a ticket for the Event, the Customer acknowledges having read the Contract and having accepted its content. In the event that a Customer is a minor, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges having read and agreed to this Agreement. In the event that a ticket is offered or purchased by a third party, the Customer who receives the ticket is deemed to have accepted the Agreement.
In the event of any discrepancy between the English and French versions of this text, the French version will be considered the official one.

1. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Notwithstanding the safety measures put in place, injuries may occur during the Event. The Customer on behalf of itself and its representatives, assigns, heirs, executors and personal successors hereby fully and indefinitely releases and discharges Événements GPCQM, the city(ies), region(s) and state(s) hosting the Event, the Fédération québécoise des sports cyclistes, all municipal agencies whose property and/or personnel are solicited or involved in any way with the Event, all corporations sponsoring or co-sponsoring the Event or any individuals associated with them, all suppliers and subcontractors involved in the organization of the Event, as well as all charities associated with the Event and their agents, directors, shareholders, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability to the Customer and its personal representatives, assigns, heirs, executors and successors for any loss, damage or claim arising out of any injury to or damage to property suffered by the Customer or the subsequent death of the Customer, whether caused by the passive or active negligence of the Releasees or otherwise, in connection with Customer’s participation in the Event (“Losses”) and other engagements thereafter, and agrees not to sue any of the foregoing parties for such Losses.
Customer is fully aware of the risks and dangers inherent in participating in this Event and chooses to participate voluntarily. Customer accepts all risk of loss(s), damage(s) or injury(s) that may occur to him/her while participating in this Event.
In some situations, applicable law may not allow the limitation of liability described above, so this limitation of liability may not apply in some cases. If any part of this limitation of liability is found to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, then the total liability of the Organization (or any third parties working with the Organization) shall not exceed the value of the ticket purchased.
2. IMAGES RIGHTS
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that the Organization (and its suppliers) may capture the Customer’s image through, but not limited to, photographs and video during the Event. Customer acknowledges that the Event is being televised and that Customer’s image may be captured and retransmitted.
The Customer irrevocably assigns to the Organization all rights arising from its image rights and agrees that the Organization (and any other entity duly authorized by it) may broadcast these images in all forms (film, video, photos, newspapers, social networks, etc.) and may use these images for any purpose (including, but not limited to, advertising and commercial purposes).
The Customer hereby releases and holds harmless the Organization (and any other entity duly authorized by it) from any and all liability for the use of its image and from any and all claims or rights that the Client may receive arising from the use of its image.
3. PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
The Customer acknowledges that he/she has read the Event’s Privacy Policy and agrees that his/her personal data will be processed as described in the policy. The Customer acknowledges that his/her data may also be processed by organizations other than the Organization and that, at that time, the privacy policy of the organization in question shall apply.
The Customer agrees to receive the newsletter and promotions from the Event and from its trusted partners. The personal information provided will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The Customer may request to be removed from the mailing lists by making a request to info@gpcqm.ca.
4. RESALE & TRANSFER OF TICKET
Any illegal resale of tickets is prohibited. As tickets are nominative, you must inform the Organization of any change of ticket holder by email at info@gpcqm.ca. Access to the VIP Village will only be granted to the Customer whose name appears as the ticket holder.
5. REIMBURSEMENT
Tickets are not refundable.
6. OBLIGATIONS OF THE CUSTOMER
It is the Customer’s responsibility to comply with the requirements of the Organizer and public authorities in order to take part in the Event. At no time will the Organizer reimburse a Customer who is unable to meet the requirements for entry to the Event.
The Organizer reserves the right to expel any customer who does not behave appropriately on the Event premises. No refund will be offered in such cases.
7. SECURITY MEASURE
The Customer agrees to comply with the security measures in effect at the event (e.g., bag searches, prohibited items, etc.).
8. CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT
In the event of the Organization having to modify certain aspects of the Event (e.g. premature termination of the race) due to exceptional circumstances, the Organization will not accept any request for full or partial reimbursement.
In the event of complete or partial cancellation of the Event for reasons of force majeure (e.g. dangerous weather conditions), the Organizer will assess the possibilities of reimbursement, but at no time will be obliged to make any reimbursement. In the event of a refund, the transaction fee will not be refunded.
9. APPLICABLE LAWS
All disputes arising out of this Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Québec and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
