Number of points
UCI world ranking
Ties on points between riders are resolved by counting up the greatest number of 1st place finishes, 2nd place finishes, etc. in the classification of the current year’s races, taking into account only finishes for which World Ranking points are allocated.
The team ranking is obtained by adding up the points obtained by the five best riders in the individual classification. Ties on points between teams are resolved according to the positions of their best riders in the individual classification.
Classification by nation:
The classification by nation is drawn up on the basis of the points obtained by the five best riders of each nationality in the individual classification. The tiebreaking method for equally ranked nations is to consider the positions of their best-ranked riders in the individual classification.
