For 2013, the UCI WorldTour label has been awarded to 18 teams (the UCI ProTeams), comprising the world’s best riders. Each ProTeam is made up of some twenty cyclists of different nationalities, one general manager and several team managers. Teams having been awarded the label have to compete in every UCI WorldTour event.
