On Tuesday, September 10, 2013, more than 400 professionals from the world of élite cycling - riders and support staff, will arrive in magnificent Québec City. The presentation of this international cycling competition over the next years is part of ongoing efforts by municipal authorities to bring international sporting events to Québec City.
The Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec will be run in the heart of the “Vieille Capitale”, an outstanding venue for this exciting competition. Its hilly terrain, made to measure for a race like this, and its undeniable charms make the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec a prestigious, unifying event like no other. Rider Arrival
Riders and support staff will arrive on Tuesday, September 10, at Jean-Lesage International Airport in Québec City, on board a charter flight from Paris.

Rider Accommodations
The Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, official hotel of the 2013 Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec, will host all riders and support staff from Tuesday, September 10, until Saturday, September 14, the day of the transfer to Montréal.
Team presentation
The official team presentation will take place on Friday, September 13, at 10 am, at the Start/Finish site on Grande-Allée Ouest, in front of Place Georges V and the Armoury. All teams entered must go to the Start/Finish podium so that all racers can sign the official starting sheet authorizing them to compete in the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec.
Rider Transfer
Transfer to Montréal
On the morning of Saturday, September 14, all riders and support staff will leave Québec City for Montréal, to prepare for the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal, taking place on Sunday, September 15. The Québec City–Montréal transfer will be by VIA Rail train, leaving from the Gare du Palais, a Canadian Designated Heritage Railway Station in Old Québec (Lower Town).
